    Stepped in to get small meal and virtually kicked out. The woman at the entrance was thoroughly impolite, disappeared halfway through us trying to negotiate getting a table, and then, upon returning, completely ignored us. We decoded it would be best to leave but I will.certainly not be returning due to this terrible service before we had even sat down! From looking at menu, I would also say that the food is overpriced for some average dishes and would not recommend this establishment, even if it has a more polite host/hostess.

    We went there following a somewhat positive reviews and craving for German food, however, we are very disappointed.
    The food quality is very low, the Schnitzel is swimming in oil, the potato salad is more sauce than potatoes and green salad is dull.
    Will never go there again.

    This is our 3rd time at the restaurant. The first time last year; when we walked in the place had a lovely aroma: The service was great and the food was delicious. When we ordered we ordered our dessert too and the waitress found this to be quite assuming haha... we bought 6 cookies for on the road and they were scrumptious. The second time, the service and food was still wonderful and she remembered us! I highly recommend this restaurant!

    Best pastries in the area! You can have a full meal or just take a delicious dessert at the take out counter. A must in Annapolis.

    Other than the service which, while being excellent, was a little slow, this was a great experience. Excellent sandwiches on obviously homemade bread, and the bakery goods are outstanding!
